Modeling workshop - 12 hours of practice - Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7 - all levels
Groups of up to 10 people
Accessible to all levels
Materials provided: apron, clay, engobes, enamels and small tools.
A little extra: hot herbal tea and cookies
For this workshop, participants receive tailor-made guidance from Gaëlle Levray, ceramist and illustrator. With no limit on clay weight, participants can choose to tackle a large, ambitious piece, or work on a series of small, delicate forms. In between steps, Gaëlle shares her tips and accompanies each gesture, from the first pinch of clay to careful finishing. Several modelling techniques will be covered: pinching, slabbing and colombins. Precious time will be devoted to decorating creations to add a personal touch, pattern or texture.
A true interlude for creating unique works of art.
