Masterclass throwing Grandes Pièces - Increasing weight

This masterclass offers participants the opportunity to learn how to turn large-format parts, working with weights ranging from 2kg to 8 kg, as well as the associated assembly techniques.

With the assistance of Iris, trainees discover how to adopt the right postures and master the essential gestures for throwing heavy weights. Emphasis is placed on specific ground preparation, centering techniques, and how to preserve the body throughout the process.

During these two days, a precise methodology is taught, enabling the efficient linking of technical gestures to create large-scale pieces. Each participant can also bring a personal project, whichIris will accompany in its technical realization.

Prerequisites : know how to turn a 1.5 kg stoneware cylinder.
Duration : 12 hours of training, spread over the weekend.
