Easter workshop - throwing / Modeling - from April 14th - 2pm-5pm

From age 12 for throwing and 7 for modelling
Groups of 6 people maximum

Materials provided: apron, clay, engobes, glazes and small tools.

The throwing course introduces participants to the art of shaping clay on the potter's wheel. After a demonstration on the wheel by the potter - centering the clay, mounting it in a cylinder or bowl - the participant is accompanied in the creation of two pieces. The participant will learn all the technical gestures and have the opportunity to decorate his or her creations. 

Nine or fifteen hours of hypnotic practice in a warm environment, no previous experience necessary. A caring team accompanies the participant through several trials to realize his or her creations. Five pieces will be created during the course. If the participant wishes to keep more pieces, a request can be made to the workshop, with an additional charge of 10 euros per piece to be paid directly to the workshop.

The pieces are fired and glazed in the workshop, and are available within a month. A postal delivery option is available at extra cost.
